Down & Dirty, just like our previous release Freestyle 4 Funk, continues our vision to mix styles and artists from all around the world.

With the help and cooperation of Lego Boy as a compiler we would like to present our second series of digital releases printed on cd!

This time our selections move into more downtempo paths, always with the influence of funk in the background. As always you will be able to find dub and lounge tunes as well as flakes of afro and soul.

Artists presented in this compilation are among others, Headson Groove, Quasamodo, Timewarp inc, Lego Boy, Medras, Niles Philips, Trotter, Basement Freaks, BMD, Downstair Project, Jayl Funk, Doctormusic Project, Quincy Jointz, Umbo & Balatz and Smokey Bandits!

The compiler John Michelinakis a.k.a Lego Boy has been organizing parties around the island of Creta from 1999 as Cosmic Sound team. The last years he created Downtempo Productions having as main aim the production of music and the co-operation with other producers for their common music production.

As Lego boy he has worked with names such as: John Digweed, Dave Seaman, Area 51, Timewarp inc and many more. In this compilation he selects the best downtempo tracks from our catalogue.

The cd comes comes out with full support from the radiostation Mousiko Kanali 105,1 (Creta, Irakleio - Greece).
