Timewarp inc is a musical project led by Angelos Stoumpos, a producer and DJ based in Athens, Greece. He is known for his unique fusion of various music genres including funk, soul, disco, house and world music, characterized by its groovy beats, catchy melodies, and a mix of both vintage and modern sounds.
Some of his most popular tracks include: "Yuil Disco Breaks", "Afrofunk", "Ghetto Drunk", "Smoke Miash", and "Theory of Revolution". His music has been featured on various compilations, aired around the globe in various radio stations, synced on tv, and with over 25 million streams and downloads has gained big recognition in the international music scene.
His career started in mid to late 80's as a dj. Counting 30+ years as a music producer and DJ, Timewarp is also a mastering engineer for other musicians & labels around the globe running his own analog mastering suite under his Timewarp Mastering brand, while he has licensed his own music for big advertising campaigns.
Timewarp has released more than 20 Albums, many remix & ep's and singles, while many of his music productions and remixes for others can be found around the global music market in various labels and compilations.
With many of his tracks featured in international famous compilations and vinyls he wright fully won his participation in many festivals where he played with Gilles Paterson & Quantic Soul Orchestra, Dimitri from Paris and countless guest dj sets in great clubs in Europe, Brazil, Africa, Balkan.
His music identity comes from Freestyle sounds (Nu-Funk / Breaks / Dub / Nu Disco), he got great reviews and was soon announced as the 'best Greek Nu-Funkster' from famous people of the scene as Graig Charles (BBC), Mo'Horizons, Dublex inc, Deep Dive Corporation, All Good Funk Alliance, Fort Knox Five, Parov Stelar and many more!
In the beginning of 2004 he created the independent record label, Timewarp Music. Ever since, Timewarp Music has an impressive release catalog of 250+ physical and digital releases (Albums, Compilations, Singles and 7" vinyl) while is the home of 160+ music producers and 300+ remixers from all around the world.
In March 2009, he completed his latest project, the creation of one more record label, Kraak Records, that releases electronic music in general, with no specific genre. Already Kraak Records is the home of 100+ music producers and remixers, having a catalog of 140+ releases.
The quality and musical style of his productions, also the frequency, diligence and energy that drives him to run Timewarp Music, drew the attention of many Greek radio producers, journalists and promoters so he soon was established in the Greek market too.
Angelos Timewarp Stoumpos combines all the characteristics of a modern successful musical personality, with a low profile and a persistence to good music, manages to blend it to the life of a person that lives through what he loves.
